Senator Nathan Johnson Files SB1877

Dallas metro area Senator Nathan Johnson has filed SB1877, the companion bill to House Bill 1386. It is one final step in getting two bills moving in both chambers of the Texas legislature this session.

Sen. Johnson, elected to the Texas Senate with strong bipartisan support in 2018, represents Senate District 16, which is generally the northern part of Dallas County. He is a physics grad from the University of Arizona, who later earned a law degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He practices law with the law firm of Thompson & Knight and, interestingly, has composed music for the classical concert stage as well as scored music for the television series Dragon Ball Z.

Please express your thanks to Sen. Johnson for his leadership on this issue. TXARC also looks forward to working with him to assure passage of SB1877.
