The Texas Adoptee Rights Coalition is a coalition of state and national organizations with a singular focus: restoring the unrestricted right of all Texas adult adoptees to obtain their own original birth certificates upon request. Each partner in the coalition commits in writing to that bottom line. Coalition partners will not support or consider provisions in OBC-related bills that discriminate against adult adoptees.
Equality 4 Adoptees is a Texas based adoptee rights organization that advocates for all adult adopted persons. E4A works with legislators and others to promote clean unrestricted OBC access legislation in Texas and nationally.
Gladney Adoptees for Rights & Equality is an organization of adoptees and their families and allies whose adoptions were handled by the Gladney Adoption Center in Ft. Worth, Texas. GLARE advocates for all Texas adult adoptees to have unrestricted access to their original birth certificates. It is not affiliated with the Gladney Adoption Center.
The Adoptee Rights Law Center provides advocacy and legal representation exclusively to adult adoptees who seek to obtain their own original birth certificates, identifying information, or U.S. citizenship.
Bastard Nation campaigns for the restoration of all adult adoptees’ right to access their records, specifically for unconditional access to their own original birth certificates, unaltered and in full.
