At a hearing for HB2006 on April 3, 2023, multiple advocates testified in favor of the bill, including TXARC’s Shawna Hodgson and Elizabeth Jurenovich of Abrazo Adoption Associates. The bill is now left pending in the Public Health Committee and is set for further consideration.
